Jun 3, 2021 · My 2015 Chrysler 200 gives me the “key fob not detected” message. I have changed the battery in the key fob. U have used the emergency key and turned it clockwise and counterclockwise go reprogram it … Disconnect the antenna wire and all wiring harness connectors and remove the radio. Put a large flat head screwdriver in the slot indicated by the red oval and twist. The bottom cover of the radio will start to come off. There is another slot at the other side of the back of the radio.When this happens, I've tried my other key-fob to see if it might be a battery problem and the other one does the same. So my vehicle loses connection with both of my remote controls and does not receive the unlock signal. The only way around this is to manually unlock the door, set off the alarm and insert the key and start the vehicle.Instead I carry a regular key which has been programmed to start the vehicle. If I read the manual correctly, the only way to disarm the security system is to use the fob.
