by far the best place is teliths island imo. tons of rock, trees, and iron right beside you, between you and new asgarth is a ton of elk king for food. pop down an elevator on the rock face going into the desert and you are like 1-2 minutes away from dry wood, coal, and good slave farming spots. You're in the north so new asgarth for steel/exp ... As for the location: zone D14 bottom center on the cliff side, C13 center right on the cliff side, E13 bottom left cliff enclave facing E13 top left. These locations support tall, multi-level bases without looking obnoxious along the landscape, while also giving the "king of the mountain" feeling.
