I got a Kat Eyz capo a few weeks back. Have been really loving it except for one thing. The Kat Eyz has a 1/4" screw which makes it quicker to spin up AND limits the amount of pressure immediately applied. I do make and offer a 3/8" knurled thumbscrew but it does bring with it a little caution …. Kat eyz capo

But the thing I like about the Collins vs Elliot Elite is the smoothness of the thumb screw motion. When the capo comes back off, you're REALLY out of tune. The problem is that many people put their capo on much too tightly. With their capo, some people actually press the strings all the way down past the fret's crown so the strings touch the fretboard.
