Oh and by the looks of things, you don't necessarily need a BBT but I've really loved having more accurate charts. :) I got my Life Brand BBT at Shoppers Drug Mart. I change them every 3-4 months so I can rely on my temps being accurate. I don't use a new BBT until the next cycle though.A BBT spike (or progesterone testing) will show that ovulation did actually happen. So it's possible that while you're getting a positive OPK, you may not actually be ovulating when you think you are. Dont worry! It's all normal! The ovulation and the temp rise usually takes place a day or two after your first positive opk! Sometimes I only get one day of positive opks, sometimes two. Usually I get a temp rise the second day after the first opk. But once or twice it was in the third day! It's all ok and normal. .
