They did not cancel these models (yet). Granted, it might be nice to have the same model available for both voices, but I think adding a "Signature" or whatnot would reclutter the Selmer ...Both brands offer an excellent mid-range horn, and several options in the high end, all with excellent keywork, top build quality, great playability and intonation. "Too bright" was a comment on the clarinet mouthpiece, and "dull" was a comment of an other player on the saxophone mouthpiece. 2. Bright with a bad reponse can be dull. I had a few SYOS Link inspired mouthpieces that I purchased at a good price, They were at best OK and not very inspirational to play. I was watching a video of Chad LB where he was using his SYOS signature mouthpiece and he sounded fabulous on it..
