Arrived on time, in new condition, all was well. Functionality of this scanner is fantastic. Programming is a breeze. Handles simulcast better than any other scanner out there. Speaker could be improved but its performance is acceptable. Explained in my note to them have worked with radios since the 1980's. The only jack on the SDS100 is the headphone jack which has very limited power so you don't blow your eardrums out. Of course that speaker will also require power. Download the file "SDS-100_V1_10_00.bin" and "SDS-100_SUB_V1._02_01.firm" and put those files on the SD card in the firmware folder. The newer SDS100/200 models are basically programmed and work the same way as the 436/536 models with a few extra features. I bought my SDS100 new from zipscanner.com on April 9th, 2020 (Less than two months ago). Arrived on time, in new condition, all was well. Functionality of this scanner is fantastic. Programming is a breeze. Handles simulcast better than any other scanner out there. Speaker could be improved but its performance is acceptable..
