Since then, we have gathered feedback and rolled even more changes today. Below is the cumulative list of balancing changes. Optifine has a function called cit (Custom Item Textures) which allows anyone (that has optifine and the resource pack) to retexture items based on different criteria (enchantments, id, name, nbt tags, etc.) This resource pack is based only on names, so if you somehow rename your objects to something else the resource pack won't work..
