2024 Marlin 39a manufacture dates - It was my 3d Marlin and I have always dreamed of a 39A, an older one of course. I paid the same as a NIB one would have cost (too much probably but I wanted it!). It is in as good a shape and has great wood. It is also VERY accurate. I love it! The serial number is 69xxxx. Can anyone tell me the date of manufacture, or where I can find it? Thanks,

 
Re: Marlin 39A date of Manufacture and points of interest. The K prefix will date it to 1953, which mans it was the last full year for Ballard rifling. Some 54's have it, but not many.
