The prior 02-06 CRF450 carbs are 40mm. Being bigger it'll be less low end and more top end power. The carb also doesn't use the same accelerator pump spring as every other FCRMX carb on the planet.The MX is just there to make the most power it physically can. It'll be thirsty but will lift the front easily. As mentioned, the suspension and sprocket setup make a big difference.
